The recruitment hub was initially set up in August 2018 to support the care sector to provide a key focus to meet the resourcing challenge, improve quality, reduce costs and improve workforce resilience and agility.
Following a successful pilot in Scarborough the service was expanded countywide in October. The Recruitment Hub has since won an NYCC Innovation award for improvements behind the scenes and in January reached two very important milestones of working with over 100 care providers in North Yorkshire and successfully placing over 100 candidates.
